Social Knowledge Creation in the Humanities addresses the relationship between social media, open access, collaboration, and crowd-sourcing in the humanities. The speed, ubiquity, and diversity of online platforms, tools, techniques, and interactions have generated and continue to inform distinct cultures of knowledge creation. The social, institutional, and cultural changes within the academy have fundamentally reshaped knowledge creation and scholarly communication.
